CentOS Linux Server Guide

E-Mail Security Virtual Appliance (ESVA)

Part 2: Disable Grey Listing in ESVA

As per my understanding there is no way you can disable it. However you can by pass the service

Step 1. Login into ESVA console via VMWare Client

Step 2. Edit file /etc/sqlgrey/clients_fqdn_whitelist.local

Make sure you editing the correct file. DO NOT edit clients_fqdn_whitelist
vim /etc/sqlgrey/clients_fqdn_whitelist.local

Step 3. Add *.* to last line of file.

You should find an empty file
*.*

Step 4. Save it

:wq

Step 5. Reboot the sqlgrey services

service sqlgrey  restart

Now, sent a mail from Gmail or Hotmail. Then, go to  dashboard> Recent Messages.  You will notice email received much faster as compare to before (approx taking 5 mins).
