CentOS Linux Files and Directories Basic |

We are going to discuss the following topics in this module.
Linux also has Files and Directories like MS Windows. However, each distro has their own Filesystem Hierarchy Design and naming convention. Even though, the Linux Filesystem Hierarchy Standard (FHS) is organize a set of recommended framework/reference, it is up to different Linux Distro developers to follow. Why? because Linux is FREE as in FREEDOM. But the drawbacks is (for my own experience and point of view only), this create extra effort for Linux users to adopt any distro easily (frankly, it takes me for quite a while to familiar with Ubuntu).
