CentOS Login, Logout and Shutdown

Generally speaking there two method you can login to CentOS (and most of the Linux distro). There are GUI or TUI. GUI Desktop is operated under Graphical based Operating System known as X-Window.

What is X-Window Graphic User Interface Mode (GUI)?

X-Window same as MS Windows Desktop. However, rather than only one type of graphical user interface for MS Windows, you have TWO GUI mode in CentOS - GNOME and KDE.
